Located at Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park in East Java, The name of Bromo derived from Javanese pronounciation of Brahma, the Hindu creator god. Mount Bromo is an active volcano that sits inside the massive Tengger Massif. At 2,329 metres (7,641 ft) it is not the highest peak of the massif, but is the most well known. The massif area is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Indonesia with its picturesque unearthly panorama.


Day 1. Malang – Tumpang

From Juanda airport in Surabaya, you will be picked up for a 4 hours drive to Cemorolawang, the major hub village located at the foothill for access to Bromo. Dinner and overnight at Tumpang. [D]

Day 2. Tumpang – Pananajakan – Bromo – Malang – Tumpang

Depart to Bromo at 03.00 AM on a 4WD Jeep to catch the sunrise at Pananjakan View Point, where you can sit on an outdoor ‘theatre’ to watch the panoramic view of Bromo unveils upon the rising of the sun. After breakfast at the viewpoint, you will be driven to the Caldera to visit the vast ‘Sea Of Sand’, an eerily mystical Poten Hindu Temple that was built using local volcanic material, and a walk up the stairs to the infamous Bromo crater where you can see the grand view of the caldera. Drive back to Malang in the afternoon for check-in and lunch, then continue to Batu where we will visit the modern and educative Batu Secret Zoo and the impressive Jatim Park 2 wildlife museum. Dinner will be served in the homestay.  [B,L,D]

Day 3. Tumpang – Malang
End of the trip. Transfer to the airport for your next destination or a hotel if you wish to extend your stay will be provided.

Rate per person:  USD$ 200,-.

Including: English speaking guide, accomodation, Entrance/donation/parking fee, meals, AC car/bus, 4WD Bromo, mineral water during tour.
Excluding: Air tickets, airport tax, travel insurance, extra drinks and meals, Gratitude for guide/driver, personal expenses,  services not mentioned above.
